What you can ask
- “Who should I contact today, and why now?”
- “Why is this lead ranked 86 and that one 61?”
- “How many of this month's leads came from people engaging with competitors' posts?”
- “Write a first message to the top lead from their signal, in my voice. Don't send it.”
- “Watch people who comment on posts by my two biggest competitors, and add the ones who fit.”
Prompts to start with
The same ones Bingle suggests after you connect. They name the tools, so the assistant calls the right one.
Catch me up
Catch me up on Bingle. Use activity_since and get_overview, tell me what needs me first, and don't send anything or spend credits without asking me.
Today's best leads
Show me today's best leads in Bingle (search_leads with view ready) and why each one is a fit right now. Draft an opener for the top three with draft_message, but don't send anything.
Find people like these
Here are people I'd love to meet: [paste LinkedIn profile links]. Add them to Bingle with add_leads, work out what they have in common, and show me the ICP changes before you call update_icp. Then show me the best matches.
Tune who I look for
Look at my recent lead approvals and rejections in Bingle (suggest_icp_edits) and show me what you'd change in my ICP. Apply only the changes I agree to.
Connect it
https://bingle.dev/api/mcpClaude
- Open Customize, then Connectors. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it Bingle, paste the link, press Continue and sign in when Claude asks.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
- Choose Create, paste the link, pick OAuth and sign in.
You sign in with your Bingle account. Sending and spending stay off unless you tick them on that sign-in screen.
What it won't do without you
- Send a message, an invite or a reply unless you ticked sending when you signed in. Even then, it shows you exactly what goes to whom and waits for a yes.
- Spend credits on email finding or LinkedIn lookups unless you ticked spending when you signed in.
- Take orders from a LinkedIn post, a profile or a website. Text other people wrote reaches the AI as data, so a post that says "ignore your rules" changes nothing.
- See your LinkedIn password. Bingle never has it.
Questions
What is the connector, technically?
An MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard Claude and ChatGPT use to talk to other apps. You give the chat app Bingle's link, sign in with your Bingle account, and the AI can then use Bingle's tools while you talk to it.
Do I need a Bingle account?
Yes. The connector works on your own Bingle workspace: your leads, your ideal customer profile, your sequences. The first 7 days are free and need no card.
Which Claude and ChatGPT plans work?
Claude allows custom connectors on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, with one custom connector on Free. ChatGPT puts them behind Developer mode: OpenAI gives full support on Business, Enterprise and Edu, and on Business an admin has to turn it on. Both companies change this often, so check your plan's settings.
Is this the same as Bingle's own Home chat?
It uses the same data. Home chat is built into Bingle. The connector is for people who already live in Claude or ChatGPT and would rather ask there, alongside their other connectors.
Can it run lead searches for me?
Yes. Ask for the kind of people you want and the AI can set up a source in Bingle that watches for them. New leads then arrive in Bingle on their own, with the signal that brought each one in.
