Short answer
What are the best UserGems alternatives for a small team?
Bingle is our pick for a founder or small team that sells on LinkedIn, from US$49 a month after 7 free days with no card: people who replied, engaged with you or sat in a sequence come back as leads when they change jobs, with a message drafted for your OK. Sales Navigator Core (A$154.99 a month) alerts you when saved leads move, Clay tracks job changes from US$167 a month billed annually, Firmable has job-change signals from US$75 a user, and Champify (from $500 a month, for Salesforce users) and Common Room (from $2,500 a month) watch a whole CRM. UserGems itself publishes Core at $40,000 a year plus a $3,000 implementation fee.
Six UserGems alternatives for small teams
Ordered from the cheapest way in to the closest match for UserGems. Prices are each tool's entry price for job-change tracking on its own pricing page on 28 October 2026. Pages that show only "$" are listed in US dollars.
How we compared
We read UserGems' pricing, signals and home pages on 28 October 2026, then the pricing and signal pages of each alternative and LinkedIn's Sales Navigator plan and alert help pages the same day. We didn't run trials or connect a CRM, so test how many of your own customers each tool can match before you pay.
We make Bingle, so weigh its entry and our pick with that in mind. The order isn't a ranking: each tool says who it suits and where it falls short.

1. LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Small teams with a short customer list they are willing to save · Core A$154.99/mo or A$1,499.88/yr (US$119.99/mo)
Sales Navigator is the cheapest paid way to hear about moves, as long as you save every contact first. LinkedIn's alerts help page says you must save your leads and accounts to get alerts, and it lists two that matter here: Lead changed jobs, when a saved lead moves to a new company, and Lead changed roles, when they change roles inside the same one.
LinkedIn's compare page ticks Alerts, which it describes as real-time signals like job changes, on all three plans, so Core is enough. Core is A$154.99 a month or A$1,499.88 a year per licence in Australia, and US$119.99 a month in the US; LinkedIn notes the prices may exclude GST. Free trials go to members on no paid LinkedIn plan who haven't had a trial in the past 365 days.
Watch out for: It only watches people you saved, the two job-change toggles under Activity about saved leads have to be switched on, and alerts inside HubSpot or Salesforce need the Advanced Plus plan.
2. Clay
Teams with someone who likes building data workflows · Free plan; job-change signals from US$167/mo billed annually (US$185 monthly)
Clay doesn't hand you a list of movers. You load contacts into a table and build the check yourself. Its free plan has no job-change signals. Launch adds them, described as signals on job changes, promotions, new hires, company news and social, along with phone enrichment and email sending through Clay's sequencer or an integration.
Launch shows as US$167 a month billed annually, made of US$54 for 180,000 actions a year and US$113 for 30,000 data credits a year; its FAQ puts it at US$185 a month on monthly billing. Seats are unlimited, so the price is the same for one person or three. CRM auto-sync starts on Growth at US$446 a month billed annually. There's a 14-day trial.
Watch out for: Credits run down as the table runs, so a long customer list costs more than the headline. Someone has to build and look after the table, and Launch has no CRM auto-sync.
3. Bingle
Founders and small teams whose customers and prospects deal with them on LinkedIn · 7 days free, no card; then from US$49/mo
Bingle tracks job changes as part of its LinkedIn outreach, with no CRM in the loop. Its user guide says people who replied to you, engaged with you or went into one of your sequences are watched for a job change, and when one moves they come back as a lead at the new company. Starting a new role is also one of the buying signals it looks for among people who fit your ideal customer, next to profile views, engagement with competitors' posts, hiring, funding and events.
Each lead is ranked by fit and timing with the reason shown. The first message is written in your voice from that reason and waits for your OK unless you switch review off, then goes from your own LinkedIn in your working hours. You can add people by pasting LinkedIn profile links, one or hundreds at a time, and run it from Claude or ChatGPT. Plans are US$49, US$79 and US$149 a month, and annual billing is 10 months for 12; see pricing.
Watch out for: LinkedIn only. The job-change watch covers people who replied, engaged or were in a sequence, so a customer you've never dealt with on LinkedIn isn't watched until one of those happens. There's no self-serve CRM integration, no contact database and no phone enrichment, so moves don't land in your CRM by themselves.
4. Firmable
Australian and APAC teams that also want contact data · Signal agents from US$75/mo per user, billed annually
Firmable lists a Melbourne address and sells B2B company and contact data with signals on top. Its buying-signals page says it alerts you to signals such as job changes, funding rounds and announcements on social media, with role changes among the signals its AI tracks, set up from templates or from scratch.
Signal agents start on Small Teams: US$75 a user a month billed annually, or US$900 a user a year, for up to 3 users, with up to 3 AI signal agents, 3,000 profiles a year, one-way CRM integration and MCP access. The Individual plan at US$55 lists no signal agents. Every plan has a 14-day trial with 25 profiles.
Watch out for: It finds and flags people but doesn't send messages. The page loaded in US dollars for us, so check the currency at checkout if you pay in Australian dollars.
5. Champify
Salesforce teams with 10,000 or more customer contacts · From $500/mo (Lite)
Champify watches the contacts in your Salesforce for company changes. Lite starts at $500 a month and covers relationship tracking for 5,000+ contacts, calendar sync for 10 users and its Salesforce package with unlimited users. Pro starts at $2,500 a month for 40,000+ contacts and adds new executive hires at 2,000+ accounts.
It prices by the number of contacts and accounts it monitors rather than per signal, sends alerts to Slack and email, and keeps its reports inside Salesforce. Every plan comes with what Champify calls a $500k ROI guarantee.
Watch out for: Its FAQ says there is no native HubSpot integration, and that relationship tracking gives the best return from at least 10,000 contacts. A team with a few hundred customers sits well below that.
6. Common Room
Teams that want job changes inside a wider buyer-intelligence tool · Essential $2,500/mo, billed annually
Common Room's Essential plan is $2,500 a month billed annually, with 5 seats, up to 100,000 contacts, research and Prospector credits, and unlimited alerts, workflows and segments. Its plan table ticks job changes tracking on all three plans, next to custom signals and social and community engagement.
Every plan connects to your CRM, your sales engagement tool and Slack, and includes Common Room's MCP server. Advanced and Enterprise are priced on request, with 15 and 30 seats.
Watch out for: Every plan starts with a demo request, and the pricing page mentions no trial. Billed annually, Essential comes to $30,000 a year, which is a lot if job changes are all you need.
Our pick
Bingle is our pick for a founder or a team of two or three who sell on LinkedIn and want to know when a past buyer or an engaged prospect moves. It catches the move among people you've already dealt with on LinkedIn, ranks them with the reason shown and drafts the first message for your OK, from US$49 a month against UserGems' $40,000 a year.
It doesn't replace a CRM-wide tool. If your customer list lives in Salesforce, runs to thousands of contacts and every move has to be written back to the record, a CRM-based tool fits that job and Bingle doesn't.
What UserGems costs on 28 October 2026
UserGems does publish its prices. Its pricing page lists three annual plans, each with unlimited admin and end users, and an Enterprise tier priced through sales. The page shows "$" without a currency code; we read it as US dollars.
| Plan | Per year | One-time implementation | Credits | Target accounts covered |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $40,000 | $3,000 | 4,000,000 | 2,000 to 4,000 |
| Advanced | $75,000 | $5,000 | 10,000,000 | 4,000 to 10,000 |
| Elite | $150,000 | $10,000 | 25,000,000 | 10,000+ |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Not shown | Not shown | Not shown |
Retroactive job change leads, meaning moves that happened before you signed, are an optional one-time $3,000 on every plan. Salesforce and HubSpot integration and sales engagement tools such as Outreach and Salesloft come with all three plans; the UserGems MCP, ad audience sync and calendar capture start at Advanced. The headline offer is your money back if you don't see ROI in closed-won revenue.
A first year on Core is $43,000 with implementation, about A$61,200 at the Reserve Bank's 27 October 2026 rate of US$0.7021. Every plan's button says Contact Us, and the page doesn't mention a free trial. Core's credits split into 40,000 data actions or 400,000 AI actions, and the page doesn't say how many a single job-change lead uses.
Which job moves a small team should watch
UserGems' signals page breaks role changes into several kinds, and each has a cheaper way to catch it.
| What UserGems says about it | A low-cost way to catch it |
|---|---|
| A past champion joins a new company | |
| Former buyers and users who already trust your product | Bingle, if they replied, engaged or were in a sequence; Sales Navigator alerts if you saved them |
| A past evaluator moves | |
| They didn't buy, and the new company might fit better | Sales Navigator saved leads; a Clay table of lost-deal contacts |
| A new decision-maker at a target account | |
| Fresh relationships, fresh budget conversations | Bingle's new-role signal among ideal-customer fits; Firmable signal agents |
| A promotion inside a customer | |
| Contacts promoted into buying roles | Sales Navigator's Lead changed roles alert |
| Your champion leaves a customer | |
| Covered by tracking every job change among your contacts | Sales Navigator alerts on every saved contact at that account |
For most small teams the first two rows are where the money is, and the list is short: everyone on a closed-won deal, every active user you can name and the main contact on recent lost deals. If that comes to a few hundred people, you are well under the 10,000 contacts Champify says its tracking needs to pay off, and under the 2,000 to 4,000 accounts UserGems' Core plan is sized for.
The last row is the one people forget. When your main contact at a customer leaves, the renewal lands on someone who has never heard of you. Whoever catches the move should also add their replacement to your list in the same week.
What job-change tracking costs for 1 and 3 people
List prices on 28 October 2026, worked out by us. Monthly unless the row says otherwise.
| Tool | 1 person | 3 people | How it bills |
|---|---|---|---|
| LinkedIn notifications | Free | Free | Only connections who share profile updates |
| Bingle | US$49 (Starter) | US$137 (Growth plus 2 extra LinkedIn accounts) | Monthly; annual is 10 months for 12 |
| Sales Navigator Core | A$154.99 | A$464.97 | Per licence; A$1,499.88 a year each |
| Firmable Small Teams | US$75 | US$225 | Per user, billed annually |
| Clay Launch | US$167 | US$167 | Billed annually, unlimited seats; US$185 monthly |
| Champify Lite | From $500 | From $500 | By contacts monitored; Salesforce users unlimited |
| Common Room Essential | $2,500 | $2,500 | Billed annually, 5 seats |
| UserGems Core | $40,000 a year plus $3,000 setup | Same | Annual, unlimited users |
Between free LinkedIn notifications and a $40,000 contract there is a long middle. A founder can watch for moves for US$49 a month in Bingle or A$154.99 in Sales Navigator, and a three-person team for US$137 or A$464.97. Clay and Firmable sit in between if you want the data in a table or a CRM. Champify, Common Room and UserGems are priced for companies whose customer lists run into the thousands and whose CRM is someone's full-time job.
How job-change tracking works in Bingle
Bingle doesn't start from your CRM. It starts from the people you've already dealt with on LinkedIn. Its guide says anyone who replied to you, engaged with you or went into one of your sequences is watched for a job change. When one moves, they come back as a new lead at the new company, so the person who said yes at their last job turns up in Review with the move as the reason to write.
From there it works like any other lead. You add them to a sequence or reject them with a reason, and the first message is drafted from the move in your voice. Profile visits, likes and blank invites run on their own; messages wait in the approval queue. What to say in that first message, and how long to leave it after someone starts, is in our guide to LinkedIn outreach after a job change.
Separately, a new role is one of the buying signals Bingle's sources look for among people who match your ideal customer, so a new head of sales at a company you'd sell to can turn up even if you've never spoken. Our earlier post on tracking when customers change jobs walks through the free LinkedIn route and Sales Navigator alerts in more detail.
Questions to ask before you sign an annual contract
- How many of my contacts can you match to a current employer? Ask for a test on 100 of your own customers, not a demo account.
- How soon after a move does the alert arrive, and where does it land: CRM, Slack, email or a list?
- What uses credits? UserGems' Core credits split into 40,000 data actions or 400,000 AI actions, so ask which a job-change lead costs.
- Are past moves included? On UserGems, moves from before you signed are a $3,000 one-off.
- Does it work with my CRM? Champify's FAQ says it has no native HubSpot integration.
- What happens at renewal: the notice period, and whether the price can rise.
If the answers point to a five-figure contract for a list of a few hundred people, run Sales Navigator alerts or Bingle for a quarter first and count how many moves you actually act on. That count tells you whether a bigger tool would pay for itself. Every head-to-head we've written is on the compare page.
Questions
How much does UserGems cost?
On 28 October 2026 UserGems' pricing page lists Core at $40,000 a year, Advanced at $75,000 and Elite at $150,000, with one-time implementation fees of $3,000, $5,000 and $10,000. Enterprise pricing is on request, and retroactive job change leads are an optional $3,000.
What is the cheapest way to track when customers change jobs?
LinkedIn's own notifications are free but only cover connections who share profile updates. The cheapest paid options we found are Bingle from US$49 a month and Sales Navigator Core at A$154.99 a month, which alerts you when a saved lead moves.
Does UserGems work with HubSpot?
Yes. Its pricing page lists Salesforce and HubSpot integration on all three plans. Champify, by contrast, says in its FAQ that it has no native HubSpot integration.
Is Sales Navigator enough to track job changes?
For a short list, often yes. It alerts you when a saved lead changes jobs or roles, but only for people you saved, and only after you switch on the two job-change toggles in its settings.
Can Bingle put job changes into my CRM?
Not by itself: Bingle has no self-serve CRM integration. Movers come back as leads inside Bingle, and Export CSV downloads the current view of your leads if you want them elsewhere.
